Başkan Erdoğan: Bu hareket büyük Türkiye davasıdır
Başkan Erdoğan, partisinin TBMM Grup Toplantısı’nda yaptığı konuşmada, 19 Mayıs Atatürk’ü Anma, Gençlik ve Spor Bayramı kapsamında düzenlenen etkinlikler ile Kocaeli’ndeki dev gençlik buluşmasına ilişkin değerlendirmelerde bulundu.
Samsun’da istiklal meşalesinin yakılmasının 107. yıl dönümünün büyük bir coşkuyla idrak edildiğini belirten Erdoğan, “19 Mayıs Atatürk’ü Anma, Gençlik ve Spor Bayramı’nı aralarında şampiyon sporcularımızın da olduğu 200’ü aşkın gencimizle Cumhurbaşkanlığı Millet Kütüphanesi’nde kutladık.” ifadesini kullandı.

Kocaeli’nde 100 bin kişilik “insan seli”
Erdoğan, bayram kutlamaları öncesinde cumartesi günü Kocaeli’nde gerçekleştirilen gençlik buluşmasına ilişkin çarpıcı rakamlar paylaştı. Kocaeli Spor Stadyumu’nun tarihi bir güne tanıklık ettiğini vurgulayan Erdoğan, şunları kaydetti;
207 üniversitemizden, 81 vilayetimizden gelen gençlerimiz, ülkemizde misafir olarak bulunan üniversiteli genç kardeşlerimizin heyecanına ortak olduk. Stadyumun içi kadar dışı da çok farklıydı, heyecan vericiydi. Her yaştan, her kökenden, her gelir grubundan ve farklı hayat tarzından yüz bin gencimiz adeta bir insan seli olup Kocaeli’ne akmıştı.
Erdoğan, Türkiye’nin dört bir yanından gelen gençlerin oluşturduğu bu tablonun ülkenin birliğini ve beraberliğini yansıttığını dile getirerek konuşmasına şöyle devam etti;
Kocaelili kardeşlerimiz de misafirlerine başarıyla ev sahipliği yaptılar. Türkiye’nin beşeri hazinesinin zenginliğine orada bir kere daha şahitlik ettik. Başta CHP olmak üzere muhalefeti kıskandıran, muhalefetin gençlerle ilgili iddialarını tek tek çürüten bir şölene imza attık. Kocaeli’ndeki şölen bizim sadece gençlerin katılımıyla gerçekleştirdiğimiz buluşmalarımızdan 14’üncüsüydü. Bunun dışında kongrelerimizde, sohbet toplantılarımızda, farklı etkinliklerde özellikle de gençlerimizle yüzlerce defa bir araya geldik, hasbihal ettik. Bu programlarda gençlerle birlikte bütün vatandaşlarımıza gönlümüzün kapılarını açtık. Yunus’un ‘Biz kimseye kin tutmazız, kamu alem birdir bize’ anlayışıyla bu ülkenin tüm gençlerini aynı samimiyetle bağrımıza bastık.
“Gençlerin omuz vermediği bir mücadele zafere ulaşamaz”
Yarım asra yaklaşan siyasi hayatı boyunca daima gençlerle yol yürümüş bir kardeşiniz olarak şunu bir defa çok net söylemek isterim: Gençleri hafife alan, gençlere sırtını dönen bir hareketin başarı şansı yoktur. Gençlerin omuz vermediği bir mücadele zafere ulaşamaz, kalıcı olamaz. Merhum Nurettin Topçu Üstadımızın dediği gibi; gençlik, geleceğin tohumudur. Bunun için gençliğe yüz çeviren, geleceğe yüz çevirmiş demektir. Şimdi bakınız değerli kardeşlerim; biz kuruluşumuzdan itibaren gençlerin en çok rağbet ettiği adres olduk. Sadece gençler için siyaset yapmadık, siyaseti gençlerle birlikte yaptık. Üstenci, kibirli, yargılayan, gençleri tedip ve tehdit eden söylemleri kapımıza hiçbir zaman yaklaştırmadık.
Önce gençleri anlamaya çalıştık, gençlerle empati kurmayı denedik. Ders vermek yerine gençlere kulak vermeyi tercih ettik. Gençlerimizin talep, beklenti ve sorunlarına yine gençlerimizle birlikte çözüm yolları geliştirdik, ortak akılla çözüm ürettik. Üniversitede fikir teri döken gençlerimizi önemsediğimiz kadar, özellikle sanayide alın teri döken gençlerimize de ihtimam gösterdik. Başörtüleri dolayısıyla üniversiteye alınmayan gençlerimizin meseleleriyle ilgilendiğimiz kadar, henüz ömrünün baharındayken hayatın zorluklarını göğüslemek zorunda kalan gençlerimizin dertleriyle de ilgilendik. Çamlıca Camii’nde hafızlık icazet merasimine katıldığımız çocuklarımız gibi, AMATEM’lerde bağımlılık tedavisi gören yavrularımıza da şefkatle yaklaştık. İstiklal Marşımızı tüm dünyaya dinleten genç sporcularımızla iftihar ettiğimiz kadar, başımıza icat çıkaran genç mühendislerimizle de iftihar ettik.
“Gençlerimiz arasında ayrım yapmadık”
Yani gençler arasında ayrım yapan bir kadro olmadık, bugün de değiliz. Bu ülkeye hizmet ettiğimiz müddetçe de asla böyle olmayacak. Değerli kardeşlerim, burada bir gerçeği tüm teşkilatıma tekrar hatırlatmakta fayda görüyorum: Dün olduğu gibi bugün de gençlerimiz yargılanmadan önce dinlenmeyi, yaftalanmadan önce anlaşılmayı bekliyor. Gençlerimiz büyüklerinin sadece ders vermesini değil, kendilerine değer vermesini de istiyor. Biz işte bunu yapmanın derdindeyiz. Önyargısız bir şekilde, açık bir kalp ve açık bir zihinle gençlerimizi anlamaya, onların ruh dünyalarının derinliklerine inmeye çalışıyoruz. Gençlerimizi harflerle ayırıp doğum yılına göre onları kategorize edenlerin bizim ne yapmaya çalıştığımızı kavramakta zorlanmaları gayet doğaldır. Gençleri sarf malzemesi olarak yolsuzluklarını örtmek için bir istismar aracı olarak görenlerin, AK Parti’nin gençlerle kurduğu hasbi ve harbi ilişkiyi kıskanmalarına şaşırmamak gerekir.
Kardeşlerim unutmayın; tilki uzanamadığı üzüme koruk dermiş. Bunlar da gençlik şölenimize çamur ve iftira atarak kendi kifayetsizliklerini kapatmanın derdindedir. Hakareti siyaset zanneden CHP Genel Başkanı’nın gençleri tahkir eden, gençleri aşağılayan hezeyanlarının bizim nazarımızda hiçbir kıymeti yoktur. Çünkü bırakın stadyumda 100 bin gençle şölen yapmayı, bunlar salonları bile doldurmakta artık zorlanıyorlar. Bir senedir oradan oraya sürükledikleri CHP’li vatandaşlarımız da bunlardan umutlarını kesmeye, ortaya saçılan pislikler sebebiyle uzaklaşmaya başladı.
“Gençlerimizin yüzüne bakacak halleri yok”
Üzülerek görüyoruz ki; Cumhuriyeti kurmakla övünen CHP, üç beş kifayetsiz muhterisin elinde seçmenini utandıran bir parti haline döndü. Sokağa çıkmaya yüzleri yok, vatandaşın, bilhassa da gençlerimizin yüzüne bakacak halleri yok. Tüm öfkeleri bu hakikatin gençlerimiz tarafından da biliniyor olmasındandır. Gençlerimiz ağızlarından liyakati düşürmeyenlerin yönettikleri belediyeleri nasıl arpalığa çevirdiklerini çok net görüyor. Gençlerimiz sürekli ahlaki üstünlükten dem vuranların nasıl bir ahlaksızlık batağına saplandıklarını çok net görüyor. Rüşvetsiz selam dahi almayanların içler acısı durumunu bu ülkenin gençleri elbette görüyor, takip ediyor. Bu açgözlülerle arasına mesafe koyuyor.
Genel başkan dahil CHP’nin rahatsızlığının temel sebebi işte budur. Varsın beyefendiler rahatsız olsun. Biz gençlere güvenmeye, gençlerimizin önünü açmaya devam edeceğiz.
Milli ve manevi değerlerimiz ışığında gençlerimizin en iyi, en donanımlı, en şuurlu şekilde yetişmeleri için elimizden gelen çabayı harcayacağız. Türkiye’nin aydınlık yarınlarının teminatı olacak Teknofest gençliğinin her alanda temayüz etmesi için seferberlik ruhuyla çalışmaya devam edeceğiz. Bu süreçte tabii ki yapıcı eleştirileri dikkate alacak, eksik varsa giderecek, gençlerimizle gönül bağımızı güçlendirmeye yönelik iyi niyetli teklif, tespit ve tenkitlerin gereğini yerine getirmekte tereddüt göstermeyeceğiz.
“Gençlere kıymet veren iktidar 23,5 yıldır iş başında”
Buradan bir kez daha gençlerimize samimiyetle seslenmek istiyorum: Sevgili genç kardeşlerim; sizi dinleyen, sizi doğru anlayan, size kıymet ve ehemmiyet veren bir iktidar 23,5 yıldır iş başındadır. AK Parti ve Cumhur İttifakı’nın gözünde bu ülkenin gençlerinin tamamı birdir, eşittir, aynı derecede sevgiye, hizmete, muhabbete layıktır. Sizin güvenliğinizi, sizin istikbalinizi, sizin huzur ve esenliğinizi her şeyden çok önemsiyoruz. Sizin sporda, sanatta, bilimde, ilimde, kültürde, siyasette, bürokraside hak ettiğiniz yere gelmenizi çok önemsiyoruz. Sizin hayallerinizi gerçekleştirecek her türlü imkana sahip olmanızı çok ama çok önemsiyoruz.
Biz size inanıyoruz, size güveniyoruz. Türkiye Yüzyılı’nın inşasını inşallah sizler tamamlayacaksınız. Yazacağınız başarı hikayeleriyle hem ailelerinizin hem de milletimizin kıvanç kaynağı olacaksınız. Şunu lütfen hiçbir zaman unutmayın; her karışında bir yiğidin yattığı bu mübarek topraklar sizin.
“Türkiye’yi bu asrın parlayan yıldızı yapacağız”
Her şehri ayrı güzel, her köşesinden tarih fışkıran bu cennet vatan sizin. Dostuna güven, düşmanına korku salan bu büyük devlet sizin. Mazisi zaferler ve mücadelelerle dolu bu necip millet sizin. Rengini aziz şehitlerimizin kanından alan bu şanlı bayrak sizin. Yeni Türkiye sizin eseriniz olacak. Büyük ve güçlü Türkiye inşallah sizlerin omuzlarında yükselecek. Bunun için bir olacağız, iri olacağız, diri olacağız, hep birlikte Büyük Türkiye’yi bu asrın parlayan yıldızı yapacağız.
Geçtiğimiz çarşamba günü itibarıyla Meclisimizin de teşekkül ettiği 14 Mayıs seçimlerinin üzerinden 3 yıl geçti. Önümüzdeki perşembe günü ise Cumhurbaşkanı seçimlerinin ikinci turunun üzerinden 3 sene geçmiş olacak. Gerek Meclisimiz gerekse hükümetimiz geride bırakmakta olduğumuz bu 3 seneyi önceki dönemlerde olduğu gibi dolu dolu geçirdi. Yine yaklaşık 3 ay sonra, 14 Ağustos’ta AK Partimizin kuruluşunun 25. yıl dönümünü kutlayacağız. Artık çeyrek asrı inşallah geride bırakmış olacağız. Aynı şekilde yaklaşık 5 ay sonra da kesintisiz iktidarımızın 24 yılını dolduracağız. Büyük AK Parti ailesi olarak hem süre bakımından hem de Türkiye’ye kazandırdığımız eserler bakımından aşılmaz rekorlara imza atmanın haklı gururunu yaşıyoruz.
“Kimse bize “kolay olacak” demedi”
Aziz dava arkadaşlarım; bugün sizlerle biraz dertleşmek, kalbimle kelamım arasına perde koymadan açık yüreklilikle konuşmak istiyorum. Bugün özellikle gözlerinin ışıltısı her zaman yüreğimizi ısıtan gençlerimizle hasbihal etmek, gönlümden geçenleri onlarla paylaşmak arzusundayım. Yunus Emre’nin bizim için de çok anlamlı bir beyti var. Diyor ki: “Bu yol uzaktır, menzili çoktur. Geçidi yoktur, derin sular var.” Evet, biz bu yola çıkarken uzun bir yola çıktığımızın; menzili çok, geçidi yok bir yola çıktığımızın; derin sulardan geçeceğimiz bir yola çıktığımızın idrakiyle, şuuruyla, bilinciyle çıktık. Kimse bize “kolay olacak” demedi.
En başta karşımızda merhum Menderes’in, merhum Polatkan’ın, merhum Zorlu’nun talihsiz hatıraları duruyordu. 27 Mayıs’ın, 12 Mart’ın, 12 Eylül’ün, 28 Şubat’ın tehditleri üzerimizde bir ağırlık olarak kendilerini hissettiriyordu. Kimilerimiz işkencelerden geçti, kimilerimiz hapislerde yattı. Partilerimiz kapatıldı, siyasi yürüyüşlerimiz engellendi. Yok sayıldık, ötelendik, dışlandık, kendi öz yurdumuzda örselendik. Hiçbir zaman korkmadık, hiçbir zaman vazgeçmedik. Çünkü bu hareket bir kişiye, bir gruba çıkar sağlama hareketi değildi. Bu hareket kişisel rant peşinde koşan bir hareket değildi. Bu hareket köksüz bir hareket değildi; saman alevi gibi parlayıp sönecek bir hareket hiç değildir. Bu hareket ta en başından itibaren millet davasıdır, memleket davasıdır, büyük Türkiye davasıdır. Bu hareket ümmet davasıdır.
“Görünmeyen nice saldırıyı, nice badireyi atlattık”
Daha kurulduğumuz andan itibaren partimizi saf dışı bırakmak, hükümetimizi yıkmak için darbe senaryoları yazıldı. İktidarımızın henüz beşinci yılında partimize kapatma davası açıldı. Muhtıralar gördük, sokak hareketleri gördük. Yargı darbelerine, silahlı darbe girişimlerine, terör saldırılarına maruz kaldık. Huzur ortamını, güven ortamını, istikrarı, ekonomiyi, demokrasiyi hedef alan nice saldırıların, suikast girişimlerinin hedefi olduk. Bunlar sizin gördükleriniz, halkımızın gördükleri; görünmeyen nice saldırıyı, görünmeyen nice badireyi atlattık.
Neydi derdimiz? Boyun eğebilirdik, teslim olabilirdik, uyum sağlayabilirdik, suyuna gidebilirdik. “Ağamsın, paşamsın” diyebilirdik. Rahat yataklarımızda, sıcacık koltuklarımızda etliye sütlüye karışmadan günümüzü gün edebilirdik. Bizden önceki pek çok hükümetin yaptığı gibi biz de rahatımızı bozmaz, riske girmez, idare-i maslahatla işi götürebilirdik. Ama biz bunu yapmadık. Biz yollara düştük, biz bir hayalin peşinde koştuk. Biz aşk ile millet davasına boynumuzu uzattık. Çünkü biz şunu biliyorduk: Tarihe bir borcumuz var. Ecdada, şehitlerimize bir borcumuz var. Ümmete bir borcumuz var. Mazlumlara, yolda kalmışlara, yoksullara, aziz milletimize, aziz memleketimize bir borcumuz var.
Bizim bu davayı omuzlamış, karınca kararınca bir noktaya taşımış bizden önceki fedakar, cefakar, cesur, mert dava adamlarına, bizim bu hareketin öncülerine bir borcumuz var. Bizim üstat Necip Fazıl’ın ifadesiyle, Allah ve ahlak demenin yasaklandığı karanlık günlerde hohlaya hohlaya buzdağını eriten iman dolu o yüreklere bir borcumuz var. O borcu ödemek için ‘can vermek mi gerekiyor, hiç tereddüt etmeyiz, gerekirse o canı da veririz’ diyerek bu yollara revan olduk. Her zaman şunun idrakinde olduk; Bir Tayyip Erdoğan gider ama bu davayı omuzlayacak bin Tayyip Erdoğan gelir. Bize düşen, bizden öncekilerden devraldığımız sancağı yere düşürmeden bizden sonrakilere devretmektir. Bizim davamız budur. Bizim misyonumuz budur. Bizim arzumuz, gayemiz, amacımız işte budur. Yarın ruz-ı mahşerde huzura vardığımızda vazifesini hakkıyla yapmış olmanın yüz akına sahip olabilirsek bu bize ziyadesiyle yeter. Gayrısı boştur, gayrısı lafügüzaftır. Bizden öncekiler bu davaya, bu harekete ömürlerini verdiler. Hamdolsun bizim yaptığımız da budur. Biz Allah’a sonsuz hamdüsenalar olsun bu hareketin içinde doğduk, bu hareketle büyüdük, vakti zamanı gelince dava taşını omuzladık. Allah’ın yardımıyla o dava taşını gücümüz yettiğince eğilmeden, bükülmeden taşıdık ve taşımaya da devam ediyoruz” dedi.
‘BİZ BU YOLA İDAM EDİLMEYİ GÖZE ALARAK GİRDİK’
Erdoğan, üzerlerinde milletin, memleketin, ümmetin mesuliyetini taşıdıklarını dile getirerek, “Kimilerine bu kolay gelebilir. Hariçten gazel okumak kolay. Mesuliyet makamında olmadan ahkam kesmek kolay. Sırça köşklerde teori üretmek kolay. Hayallerle yaşamak kolay. Biz kolayı değil, zoru seçtik. Biz çileyi seçtik. Biz mücadeleyi seçtik. Kendi siyasi tarihim boyunca çok ihanet gördüm, çok vefasızlık gördüm, çok nankörlük gördüm. Varsın olsun yine Yunus’un beyitleriyle, bu halk içinde ‘Bize gülen var, gülen gülsün, gafil ne bilsin, hakkı sever var, hakka esir var, hakka tapan var, hak yoluna başını koyan var, hak için candan, serden geçen var.’ Unutmayın, hak bilsin, halik bilsin, bize bu yeter. Bir yoksul, bir garip, bir yolda kalmış, bir mazlum bize ‘Allah sizden razı olsun’ dediyse, biz payelerin en yükseğine erişmişiz demektir. Hiç şüphesiz mükemmel değiliz. Haşa günahsız, kusursuz değiliz. Hatadan münezzeh asla değiliz. Elbette bizim de hatamız, eksiğimiz, yapmak isteyip de yapamadıklarımız vardır ve olmuştur. Ama şu da bilinsin ki bir engeli aşmak için bin engelle mücadele etmek zorunda kaldık. Şimdi sağdan-soldan klavye kahramanları AK Parti’nin bu kadronun açtığı yolda tesis ettiği iklimde refah ve konfor ortamında sıcak yataklarından, rahat koltuklarından ahkam kesiyor olabilirler. Bunlara soruyorum, siz hiç hayatınızda risk aldınız mı? Siz hiç hayatınızda kavgaya girdiniz mi? Siz hiç hayatınızda ölümle burun buruna geldiniz mi? Menderes’in akıbeti gözünüzün önünde dururken hayatınızda hiç canınızdan, serinizden vazgeçecek bir harekete dahil oldunuz mu? Kavgada yoklar; ama kavga bitince sırça köşklerinden laf üretirler. Biz bu yola çıkarken de bu yolda yürürken de Türkiye’nin yakın tarihine bakarak hapislere düşmeyi, işkence görmeyi, suikastlara hedef olmayı, hatta idam edilmeyi göze alarak girdik. Peki, bizi acımasızca, bizi insafsızca eleştirenler, siz ne yaptınız, hangi fedakarlıkta bulundunuz, hangi bedeli ödediniz? Konforlu, güvenli alanlarınızdan yapılan hizmetlere kulp takmak dışında Allah aşkına hangi marifeti icra ettiniz? Bizim Hakk’ın ve halkın nazarında takdir edilmek dışında bir gayemiz yoktur. Milletimiz de her seçimde bize takdirini, teşekkürünü ifade etmiştir. Ancak, sevdiğimiz, saydığımız, itibar ettiğimiz, kendimizden gördüğümüz kimilerinin izan ve insaf sınırlarını aşması da açıkçası canımızı acıtmıştır. Bu yolculukta bu da var. Hani diyor ya şair Atilla İlhan, ‘ayrılık sevdaya dahil.’ Yola çıkarken bu sevdaya bunun da dahil olduğunu bilerek çıktık” ifadelerini kullandı.
‘TERÖRSÜZ TÜRKİYE’Yİ MENZİLE ULAŞTIRMAKTA KARARLIYIZ’
Erdoğan, yüzde 52’nin oyunu alarak göreve gelmiş bir iktidar olduklarını belirterek, “Yüzde 48’in önemli bir kısmının oy vermese de gönlünün bizimle olduğunu bilen bir iktidarız. Hepsinden öte, biz, yüzde 100’ün, onun ötesinde mazlum, mağdur coğrafyaların, ümmetin de mesuliyetini omuzlayan bir iktidarız. Kökümüzü unutmayız, özümüzü unutmayız. Nereden geldiğimizi de çok iyi biliyoruz, nereye gittiğimizi de çok iyi biliyoruz. Bizi biz yapan değerlerden asla kopmadık. Her zaman duamızda, günde 5 vakit namazlarımızda ettiğimiz dua da ‘bizi sırat-ı müstakime eriştir’ duasıdır. Bizim duamız, ‘ayaklarımızı sıratı müstakimde sabit kıl’ duasıdır. İnşallah doğru bildiğimiz yolda eğilmeden, bükülmeden, boyun eğmeden, teslim olmadan, yorulmadan, yılmadan yürümeye devam edeceğiz. Allah’a hamdolsun, bizimle aynı yolda yürüyen, birlikte yürüdüğümüz milyonlar, on milyonlar var. Bizimle aynı ufka bakan, aynı menzile doğru koşan milyonlarca genç var. Dünyanın dört bir yanında, Filistin’den Suriye’ye, Arakan’dan Afrika’ya bizim için ellerini semaya açan yüz milyonlar var. Hepsinin umudunu, hepsinin emanetini taşıyoruz ama şunun da bilinmesini isterim, tek başıma kalsam dahi bu yol hak yoludur, dönmek bilmez yürürüm der, bu yolda sabırla yürümeyi sürdürürüm. Allah’a hamdolsun, bu yolda yalnız değilim, birlikte çok güzel işler yaptık, Türkiye’ye çok güzel eserler kazandırdık. İnşallah daha fazlasını yapacağız, birlikte yapacağız, hep beraber yapacağız. İnşallah 15 Temmuz gecesi meydanlarda kurduğumuz Cumhur İttifakı’yla inşallah yeni başarılara, yeni zaferlere imza atacağız. İttifak ortağımız Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi’yle el ele, omuz omuza verecek, her metrekaresinde huzurun, güvenliğin, refahın ve kardeşliğin olduğu bir Türkiye’yi adım adım inşa edeceğiz. En büyük eserlerimizden biri olarak gördüğümüz Terörsüz Türkiye sürecimizi ortak akılla, sağduyuyla, samimiyetle menziline ulaştırmakta kararlıyız. Devletimizin ilgili kurumları örgütün tasfiye sürecini hızlandıracak farklı modaliteler üzerinde yoğun bir şekilde çalışıyor. İttifak ortağımızla da siyasetin çözüm kapasitesini artıracak yeni yol, yöntem ve hamleleri etraflıca istişare ediyoruz. Hayırlı işlerde çabuk olunması gerektiği inancıyla bir an önce bu meseleyi milletimizin gündeminden çıkarmak istiyoruz. Şunu bugün bir kere daha altını çizerek ifade ediyorum; Türkiye, sadece ekonomik maliyeti 2 trilyon doları aşan bu sorunu kalıcı biçimde çözecek iradeye, kapasiteye ve tecrübeye ziyadesiyle sahiptir. En güçlü dayanağımız millettir, sizsiniz ve milletimizle bu yolu yürümekte asla tereddüdümüz yok” diye konuştu.
Erdoğan, grup toplantısının ardından çıkışta basın mensuplarının “Bayramda İstanbul’da mısınız?” sorusuna, “Daha belli değil. Eşim bakalım ne der?” cevabını verdi.

According to the statement made by the Diyanet, Arpaguş spoke at the Childhood Quran Teaching Workshop themed “Educational Activities for Children in Quran Courses: Evaluation and Future Perspective” organized by the General Directorate of Educational Services.
Stating that early childhood is the most critical phase in which a person’s identity, personality and character are shaped, Arpaguş said, “In this respect, we see Quran courses for ages 4-6 as not only a teaching process in which the skill of reading the Quran is acquired, but also as a strategic education area that aims to protect the child’s nature, support his spiritual and moral development, and contribute to the construction of a solid identity and personality.” made his assessment.
Drawing attention to the importance and sensitivity of childhood, Arpaguş continued as follows:
“We should measure our success in teaching the Quran not by how much students memorize, but by their ability to establish a relationship of love and trust with the Quran that will last a lifetime. What is more important than a child of four or five years old knowing all the letters is that he comes running to the Quran lesson. What is more valuable than memorizing long surahs for a child at that age is that he can learn the love of Allah in a compassion-centered way. Therefore, we measure our success criteria not only on the amount of memorization, recognition of letters or the level of applying the rules of tajwid, but also on participation in the lesson, desire to learn, social “We have to read through multidimensional indicators such as interaction and positive attitudes towards the Quran.”
Arpaguş stated that they aim to develop a Quran education model that brings together knowledge and wisdom and transforms it into morality, and said, “In order to bring our children together with our own civilization values, we have to develop a strong pedagogical approach centered on wisdom, as in the Islamic education tradition. When we can do this, we will achieve great success in Quran education and we will have come a long way towards raising faithful, knowledgeable, moral and personality generations.” he said.
Emphasizing that they are trying to make the most of the realities revealed by science and the possibilities and opportunities of the age in terms of preparing children for the future in the best possible way, Arpaguş said, “We are constantly trying to update our educational programs and course materials with the contributions of child psychologists, child development experts, pedagogues, academics and educators in the field. Our workshop held here today is a manifestation of this sensitivity.” made his assessment.
